Goals in life

I hope to travel to as many different countries as I can, to find something positive in every day, to never meet a stranger, and to leave a positive impact on every person I meet in my life.

Your personal motto / words to live by

“Travel light, live light, spread the light, be the light.” – Yogi Bhajan

Fun fact about yourself

I lived in Spain for 3 months!

Favorite thing about Kansas City

I love Kansas City for many reasons, but one thing I love is the history and culture of Kansas City. The Country Club Plaza is modeled after the streets of Sevilla, Spain, which reminds me of the memories I made while living in Spain. I love that Kansas City has a rich history with a mix of many different cultures.

Favorite Charity & why

My favorite charity is the Alzheimer’s Association because many people, including my grandpa, suffer and have suffered from dementia. Alzheimer’s is a terrible disease that has affected my family as well as many people around the world.

Why did you decide to audition to be a CC?

I grew up in a Chiefs loving family and have always admired the Chiefs Cheerleaders. The Chiefs Cheerleaders have represented the kind of women I want to be: kind, hardworking, compassionate, humble and confident. I wanted to be able to cheer on the Chiefs in a new way and represent the amazing city I grew up in!

Favorite CC Appearance to date

One of my favorite appearances was when Kassi and I met a young girl with Leukodystrophy for her “Make a Wish”. I will forever remember her bubbly personality, her brave heart and her powerful story. Her family touched our hearts and instantly made us feel thankful for everything this life has given us. I only hope that she grows up to be even more beautiful and stronger for all of the tough battles she has faced. She is forever in our hearts.

Advice to anyone that wants to audition in the future to be a CC

Do it! Auditioning for the team has been in the back of my mind since I was a little girl. I am so thankful for the friendships I made during auditions and for the support that the staff, the veterans and the other rookies gave me. The weekend is so fun and if you love to dance, you will love it because you won’t ever stop! You never know if this year is YOUR year, so get out there and show Kansas City the best version of you that you can be.
