Anna

Biography

Anna J.

Number of years on the team
4th year

Hometown
Raymore, MO

College
Missouri State University

Occupation
Sr. Customer Support Representative/Custom Design Specialist

Goals in life
To have my own Fashion Design line of either evening gowns or cowboy boots (quite the difference, I know!) and continue to dance/perform in any way I can!

Your personal motto / words to live by
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He with make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Person you admire and why
My mother, Sandy! She is such a kind, selfless, and caring woman who I am so lucky to have in my life. She always puts others first and has always been the best “stage Mom” I could ever ask for! I would not be where I am today without her!

Fun fact about yourself
I love fishing! I grew up on a lake where my Dad taught me to fish, and now it’s one of my favorite past times!

Favorite cheer appearance to date
. In May of 2015, I attended my very first military appearance in Washington D.C. My eyes were forever opened to the world of our military and how much our service men/women sacrifice for our freedom. The trip was life changing in so many more ways than I could ever put into words. I am forever thankful for the men, women, and families my teammates and I met on that trip and the impact they made on me!

Advice to anyone that wants to audition in the future to be a cheerleader
You never know if this is your year unless you try! We all started in the same place: with a dream, and the decision to go for it! The audition process alone is one of the most amazing experiences ever, so you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

What is your favorite “Stephanie Judah” saying?
“Embrace who God made you!” She’s constantly told me that and it really made an impact on me! Growing up as a taller dancer, I was always a bit insecure about my height and tried to “blend in”. Now, I am proud of my height and own it thanks to Stephanie!
