Goals in life

I want to pursue the things I am passionate about and dedicate myself to those things with all my heart. I believe that when you follow your passion, that is when you find your true happiness. I want to continue developing and improving myself professionally, socially, and personally by being 100% dedicated to everything I do, by living each day to the fullest, and by loving everyone deeply.

Someone you admire

A person I aspire to be is my high school dance team coach, Shan. She is a driven and inspirational coach. I will always admire her passion and dedication. As much as she taught me about becoming a better dancer she taught me to be a strong woman with a continuous focus on improving myself and becoming a better person. She continues to support me with all of my life decisions.

Favorite Movie

Forrest Gump. It’s a classic that will make you laugh, cry, and teaches you that anybody, no matter how simple they may be, can have a profound effect on the world.

Favorite Singer / Band

My favorite singer is Justin Timberlake. He stole my heart back in his NSYNC days and he has grown into an incredible singer, dancer, comedian, and performer.

Favorite Charity & why

A charity very close to my heart is First Hand Foundation. They impact the health of children, families, and communities through reactive and preventative initiatives. First Hand Foundation jumps in during the hardest moments in the family’s lives. Having an organization that assists families and gives them hope, brings the greatest joy to my heart.

Why did you decide to audition to be a CC?

I was told my rookie year that one of the veterans “came for the dancing and stayed for the people.” I know exactly what she means. Whether it’s the girls on this team, our director, everyone within the Chiefs organization, or all of Chiefs Kingdom – young and old; these individuals have impacted my life without even knowing it. I decided to audition again to have the chance to continue to meet new people and to hopefully change other people’s lives as much as they’ve changed mine.

Favorite CC Appearance to date

The Challenger Cheer Clinic has been my favorite. I will never forget dancing around the room with these young girls doing “lights-out freeze-dance”. Having the opportunity to meet each girl and immediately feel the love they had for each one of us was touching. They had so much love to give and their pure enjoyment of life was inspiring.

Best Moment as a CC to date

Cheering on the sidelines during Monday Night Football last season was unforgettable. Holding the 100 yard American Flag while Arrowhead sang the National Anthem was a humbling moment. The crowd was on fire that night, and Chiefs Kingdom was ready to take their record back. The deafening roar from the fans was chilling. And it took the entire city, but we smashed the record.
