What is the best thing about being a Chiefs Cheerleader?
The military tours. My favorite memory was IRAQ!!!! Back in 2011, 6 ladies were selected to represent the Chiefs Cheerleaders in a military tour of Iraq and Kuwait during the 4th of July holiday. We spent 12 days getting to know and performing our variety show for the men and women of the armed forces. The whole experience was truly humbling, eye opening, and mind blowing. I came out of thatexperiencewith a greater appreciation for those individuals who give their life to protect our country for us.

How do you spend your time off the field?
Off the field you can either find me transforming healthcare by creating innovative software solutions, designing websites, or being a FOODIE and touring the local restaurants in KC.

Who has influenced you the most in life?
My mother. She has always opened her heart to helping others and made time to support many people in her life. She has taught me the importance of caring and being a true blessing to others.

Three words that describe you:
Determined, Loyal, Sassy

What is your most prized possession?
My mom,I am not sure what I would do without my mom in my life. She keeps me sane and her unconditional love for me keeps me going and determined to ALWAYS make her proud of me.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
At the moment, being that role model/spokesperson for females in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineer, and Math) fields. I recently have been invited to various events to talk/encourage young girls about opportunities in the STEM fields and how it is important to increase the number of females in those areas. Bringing awareness to this issue of lack of females in the STEM fields is a great passion of me and something I can hope to help fix.
