Favorite quote
“It is our choices that show us what we truly are, far more than our abilities.” –Albus Dumbledore

Favorite charity and why?
Susan G. Komen – Breast Cancer Awareness has been close to my heart since my aunt was diagnosed in 2012. She is on her fifth year as a survivor. I’ve enjoyed coordinating fundraising events with this charity in the past and continue to support each year at the Race for the Cure.

Why did you decide to audition to be a Chiefs Cheeleader?
Ever since I participated in Spirit Day during high school, I have admired this role and the women in it. Once life led me closer to KC, I knew my dream could come true if I worked hard enough--and it did! Being a part of this incredible Chiefs family is what brings me back to auditions each year!

Favorite cheer appearance to date
. One appearance I will never forget was visiting Fort Carson Army Base in Colorado Springs. It’s unbelievable what our military sacrifices for us so it was an honor getting a small peak into their world. I loved connecting with the children on base at our Cheer Clinic and will never forget the men and women I had the pleasure to meet.

Best moment as a cheerleader to date
The best moment to date has been dancing on the field with my niece for our Jr CC halftime. When we made eye contact, both her dancing and smile got bigger than ever!

Advice to anyone that wants to audition in the future to be a cheerleader
Prepare, prepare, prepare... but don’t aspire to be the best ON our team—aspire to be the best FOR our team!

Favorite former Chiefs player?
Will Shields. I admire player that excels not only on the field but off of it also. The work he’s done with his Will to Succeed Foundation has gained my respect and coined him my favorite former Chiefs player.
