Goals in life

To inspire and help others!

Person you admire & why

I truly admire my mom for many reasons outside of being a mother! She has always been not only a support system but a shining example of personal growth and perseverance. She never allows herself to become lazy or complacent in life and continually expands her career, her education and her goals. She does all of this while helping others wherever she can.

Favorite Book

No matter how many books I read, my favorites will always be the Little House on the Prairie books I grew up with.

Where do you most want to travel, but have never been?

I’d love to visit the Egyptian pyramids and Machu Picchu in Peru. Ancient architecture is so fascinating!

Favorite Charity & why

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Their research and ability to provide care free of charge has changed the lives and outcomes of so many families and children.

Why did you decide to audition to be a CC?

I have always looked up to the Chiefs Cheerleaders but it was never something that I imagined as a possibility for myself. Several years ago I decided this was something I really wanted to strive for. I picked up dancing again after a few years off, and this fall I decided I was ready to take a leap of faith. My grandma is a huge Chiefs fan, and when I told her that I planned to audition she started to cry! I have always known this is a place I would love to live and a team I would be proud to be a part of.

Favorite CC Appearance to date

My first appearance was this year at Draft Day! I loved being able to meet so many Chiefs fans, everyone was so kind and made it such a great experience.

Best Workshop or Audition moment

I was so nervous at the audition workshop that I could barely sign my name! We are lucky enough to be sponsored by Beauty Brands, and they came that day to give us hair and makeup touchups. I remember looking in the mirror afterwards and thinking “Wow, I look like a Chiefs Cheerleader!” I will never forget how grateful I was for that extra boost of confidence right when I needed it most. Throughout the entire process somebody is there to help you in any way imaginable. It’s truly an amazing experience.
