The Chiefs are expecting the largest crowd of the season and are encouraging fans to arrive early via bus and carpool. The heaviest traffic will be from 10:30 a.m until noon, so fans are asked to arrive prior to 10:30 to avoid peak times. Access to parking lots will begin at 8:30 a.m.
“Carpooling with friends is a great option to ensure you get into the lot quickly and are able to tailgate in the same location with friends,” said David Young, Vice President of Stadium Operations for the Chiefs, “Fans who arrive during those peak times risk not making it to their seats before kickoff.”
A new tool on the Chiefs website allows ticket holders to get personalized directions to each parking lot. The tool can be accessed at http://www.kcchiefs.com/arrowhead/directions.html.
