Sessions include a separate camp for high school players; former Chiefs QB Trent Green to join in camp instruction

Former Kansas City Chiefs guard Will Shields will be conducting a special football camp, TNL Football Camps with Legends, on Monday, June 4th through Wednesday, June 6th.

The camp, sponsored by 68 Inside Sports and TNL Compete, is open to all players and will be segmented by grades:

  • 2nd -8th graders: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • 9th – 12th graders: 5-10 p.m.

The camps will be held at Washington High School, 7340 Leavenworth Road, Kansas City, Kan.

Now’s your chance to learn from the best including Shields and his staff of professional and collegiate coaches in a personal, hands-on setting. Learn all the right moves with professional players who know them best!

Camp tuition covers all instruction, a camp T-shirt, gift bag, motivational speakers, lunch/dinner and drinks and a media day.

Participants will have the opportunity to interact with current and former pro athletes including Shields, former Chiefs teammates Trent Green, Danan Hughes and more. Autographs will be permitted on a limited basis at pre-determined times.

"This is the only camp where coaches and the kids leave with training product and get to interact with professional athletes,” Shields said.

Tuition for this high-level camp is $185 per camper with part of it benefitting the Kansas City Kansas School Foundation for Excellence, working to enhance educational opportunities for students. Shields is a member of the Foundation’s board. A percentage of admission fees also goes back to participating schools, coaches and organizations that participate. And every student can afford to participate – students have the opportunity to sell up to 40 cases of different Coca-Cola products to pay their tuition.
