Chiefs Sign Free Agent G Ryan Lilja

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Tuesday that the club has signed free agent G Ryan Lilja.

Lilja (6-2, 290) has played in 66 games (59 starts) in six seasons with Indianapolis (2004-09). He also started eight playoff games with the Colts, including Super Bowls XLI and XLIV. He originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with Kansas City in 2004.

The Kansas City, Missouri native saw action in 23 games (14 starts) in two seasons at Kansas State, earning second-team All-Big 12 honors as a senior. He began his collegiate career at Coffeyville (KS) Community College. Lilja prepped at Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
