San Diego pulled off the rare double-double a year ago by leading the NFL in both total offense and total defense. On the road in 2010, the Chiefs gained 1,164 rushing yards to rank fifth in the league.

The Chiefs finished 11th in the NFL a year ago, allowing 326 total points. Kansas City only allowed its opponents to score on 28.1% of their offensive drives, the seventh-lowest mark in the NFL. CB Brandon Flowers, LB Derrick Johnson and S Eric Berry each returned an interception for a touchdown.

QB Matt Cassel is in his third season at the helm of the offense after garnering a Pro Bowl invite a year ago. RB Thomas Jones tallied 896 rushing yards in 2010 to become the first player in NFL history to produce 500 or more rushing yards five different franchises. WR Dwayne Bowe added 1,162 receiving yards with a league-high 15 receiving TDs a year ago.

Kansas City ends its two-game road trip and returns home for a contest with the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Oct. 2 at Noon (CT). San Diego hosts Miami on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 3:15 p.m. (CT).
