The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Sunday that the club has changed its practice schedule for the remainder of training camp because of projected temperatures and heat indexes for the safety of Chiefs players and fans.
Beginning Monday, August 9th, the second practice during regular two-a-day sessions will now begin at 6:00 PM instead of 4:30 PM.
A special Training Camp Sendoff Event hosted by Missouri Western State University remains scheduled for Wednesday, August 18th. This evening full of special activities will include Chiefs practice, beginning at 7:15 PM. MWSU will charge a $10 admission fee for this event with free admission for children three and under.
