The Kansas City Chiefs are conducting an all-day takeover of 101 The Fox (KCFX-FM) and Sports Radio 810 (WHB-AM) radio studios today. The takeover starts at 7:00 AM this morning as “Voice of the Chiefs” Mitch Holthus and COO Mark Donovan will enter the KCFX studios and commandeer the station’s signal from morning drive-time broadcast personality “Slacker.” On Sports Radio 810 (WHB-AM), the Border Patrol duo of Nate Bukaty and Steven St. John kicked off a day-long marathon of Chiefs programming by conducting their show live from the Chiefs Training Facility.

Chiefs fans can tune into 101 The Fox and Sports Radio 810 to hear exclusive interviews conducted by “Voice of the Chiefs” Mitch Holthus, as well as WHB personalities. Holthus will also make a special appearance on Between the Lines with Kevin Kietzman on WHB.

In addition, former Head Coach Marty Schottenheimer, Bobby Bell, Deron Cherry, Willie Lanier, Will Shields and Gary Spani are all slated to participate. A host of other Chiefs personalities are scheduled to appear on both stations throughout the day in advance of 2010 Chiefs Training Camp presented by Heartland Health, which begins Friday, July 30th at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri.

On Sports Radio 810, The Border Patrol, as well as The Program with Soren Petro will conduct live broadcasts from the Chiefs Training Facility. The day culminates with the official unveiling of the 2010-11 Chiefs Cheerleader Swimsuit Calendar at the 810 Zone. That event is open to all Chiefs fans, and will be hosted by Steven St. John.
