Mini-Camp Schedule and Info

The Chiefs 2010 off-season program is charging down the homestretch

Friday, the Chiefs will open a weekend set to see five 90-minute practices sessions conducted over a three-day period for the club’s annual veteran mini-camp. Player attendance is mandatory.

The camp will not be open to the public this year. In past years, Saturday’s practice sessions were open and free to the general public, but ongoing construction at The New Arrowhead has kept mini-camp practices closed for the past two years.

The Chiefs practice schedule is set for the following times this weekend:

Friday, June 11th

Practice #1: 10:30 AM

Practice #2: 4:15 PM

Saturday, June 12th

Practice #1: 10:30 AM

Practice #2: 3:30 PM

Sunday, June 13th

Practice: 10:15 AM

Chiefs head coach Todd Haley will conduct a press conference to recap the day’s events on following the first practice session of each date. You can find those press conferences, as well as locker room coverage, one-on-one interviews and practice updates throughout the weekend on

There have also been many questions regarding that status of Jarrad Page, relative to this weekend’s mini-camp. Page has yet to sign his one-year tender offer as a restricted free agent, meaning that he can’t be fined or suspended for missing the mandatory mini-camp since he’s not under contract. Page has yet to participate in any of the Chiefs off-season practices to date.

Outside of this weekend’s mini-camp practices, attendance in the Chiefs off-season program is voluntary for all players under contract (per NFL rules). Despite the “voluntary” tag, the Chiefs have seen very few players miss workout sessions this off-season.

Following the conclusion of mini-camp weekend, Kansas City is scheduled to host two more OTA dates before the 2010 off-season program concludes. Those sessions are currently scheduled for June 14th and June 15th.
