He’s one of the best right tackles in the National Football League, and now he’s a member of the Kansas City Chiefs.
But before he signed with the team, Mitch Schwartz, who spent the previous four seasons with the Cleveland Browns, already knew a little bit about what makes this place special.
• His brother, Geoff, who is also an offensive lineman, spent the 2013 season with the Chiefs.
• He has played at Arrowhead Stadium twice in his career (2013, 2015).
• In 2012, his rookie season, Schwartz’s offensive coordinator with the Browns was Brad Childress, who is now the co-offensive coordinator here in Kansas City.
