Team Rushing: The Chiefs accumulated 247 yards rushing in the game, outgaining the Packers by 201 yards (247 to 46). RB Nate Eachus led all Kansas City rushers with 21 carries for 99 yards (4.7 avg.) with a long of 18 yards. This is the second week in a row Eachus has led all Chiefs rushers (10 carries for 98 yards vs. Seattle on 8/24). RB Shaun Draughn recorded eight rushes for 51 yards (6.4 avg.) with a long of 20, while RB Peyton Hillis carried the ball six times for 46 yards (7.7 avg.).

Total Yards: The Chiefs outgained the Packers 342 yards to 304 total yards in the contest.

Time of Possession: The Chiefs held an advantage in the time of possession battle as well, holding
possession of the ball for 32:56 compared to 27:04 for the Packers.

Punt Block: FB Patrick DiMarco blocked a Green Bay Tim Masthay punt in the third quarter. That marked the club’s first blocked kick of the 2012 preseason.

Jones’ Sack: LB Edgar Jones sacked Packers QB B.J. Coleman for a three-yard loss with 4:36 to go in the
third quarter. The QB takedown marked Jones’ second sack of the 2012 preseason. The team finished the
preseason with 12.0 sacks.

Kick Returns: Four different Chiefs players recorded kick returns of more than 30 yards on the evening. DB Mikail Baker tallied a 42-yard kickoff return; WR Devon Wylie recorded a 38-yard return; DB Javier Arenas had one kick return for 37 yards; while RB Shaun Draughn turned in a 34-yard return. The team averaged 37.8 yards per kickoff return.

Pinning Their Backs Against a Wall: P Dustin Colquitt punted the ball four times and landed all four punts inside the Packers’ 20-yard line. His four punts covered 170 yards (42.5 avg.) with a long of 56 yards.
