OPENING REMARKS: “We had a Thursday practice, full pads today. Again, just trying to take advantage of this day where we can get in to the pads. I thought we had good work, good progress, guys running around in a good, physical practice. Like I said, I feel like we did make progress. So, that’s the name of the game. We’re just trying to get a little better each day and we’ve got to be better on Sunday to be able to go out and accomplish our goal.”
Q: Without the new regulations, would you have been in pads on Wednesday?
HALEY: “Yeah, I think especially playing a team like Minnesota, a big, physical team that you can use pads every day. You can really against a team like this. Like we’ve said all along, everybody is under the same guidelines so I think it’s just up to each team to try to figure out what gets them ready. There’s nothing saying you have to be in pads. We feel like this is getting us better.”
HALEY: “Same, limited is what he’s going on the injury report as.”
Q: What do you put his chances at playing Sunday?
HALEY: “I don’t have to put that on there yet, but I would say he’s got a little while longer.”
Q: What about
HALEY: “Yep, and [Brandon] Bair was back out there.”
Q: Better chance of Flowers or McGraw playing this weekend?
HALEY: “They’re both limited.”
Q: What is Donovan McNabb like compared to five years ago?
HALEY: “I said yesterday I think he shows he’s still got it. He’s big, strong, you see him take off and run. Clearly his arm hasn’t changed. He’s in a new situation and you can tell he’s getting more and more comfortable each and every game that you see on tape.”
