Throughout his college years at Notre Dame, Tim Grunhard was a force on the offensive line. During his junior and senior seasons Tim helped the Fighting Irish generate a 24-1 record and win the 1988 National Championship. In the 1990 draft, the Chiefs selected Grunhard with the 40th overall pick.

During his first year in the NFL, Tim was converted to center, a position he had never played before in his career. The move proved to be successful as he was voted to the All-Rookie team in 1990. Tim went on to play 169 games in the NFL, all as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs, and earned a trip to the Pro Bowl in 1999. Due to his hard work and leadership, Tim Grunhard was a fan favorite in the community and constantly named team captain year after year by his coaches and teammates.

Tim is now a football coach at Bishop Miege High School in Kansas and enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and four children, CJ (18), Cailey (16), Colin (16), and Cassie (15).
