The Ambassadors presented by Empower Retirement are a group of former Kansas City Chiefs players from throughout the club’s history. The Ambassadors have become a recognizable group throughout the NFL and serve as an innovative and worthy asset to the Chiefs Community Caring Team in the Kansas City region and beyond.
The Kansas City Chiefs Ambassadors support our community with local scholarship programs, charity golf tournaments and numerous charitable visits and appearances. The Ambassadors are the only group of its kind in the NFL and inductees into the group are hand-picked based on tenure and their willingness to participate in Ambassador outreach events and meetings. The Ambassador Features column on the right chronicles the many events and appearances that the Ambassadors are a part of in the Chiefs Kingdom.
One of the local organizations that the Ambassadors support is Camp Quality of Greater Kansas City. Camp Quality serves children with cancer and their families by providing year-round programs, experiences and companionship at no cost. Camp Quality promotes hope and inspiration while helping children foster life skills and develop their full potential. Recently, the Ambassadors held their 21st Annual Ambassadors Golf Classic where funds were raised to send children to Camp Quality.
Another local charity that the Ambassadors have teamed up with is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City. Currently the Ambassadors have over 17 bin locations across KC where you can donate used clothing and household items to benefit the BBBS of Greater Kansas City program.
Below you will see the Ambassador profiles where you can find out more about these dedicated former Chiefs players. You can also find information on the Annual Ambassador Golf Classic and other appearances where the Ambassadors make themselves accessible to Chiefs fans on the Ambassador Events column on the right.
