Joe Bleymaier
Offensive Quality Control

Biography

Joe Bleymaier enters his second season as the Chiefs offensive quality control coach in 2017. Bleymaier comes to Kansas City after previously spending three seasons at the University of Colorado (2013-15), with his final season spent as an offensive quality control coach. 

In his first season with the Chiefs, Bleymaier has helped the Chiefs to a 12-4 record, winning the first AFC West Division Title under this regime. 

Prior to his time at Colorado, Bleymaier spent two seasons at Wauwatosa East High School in Milwaukee, Wis., while he was attending law school. 

Additionally, Bleymaier spent three summers as a football operations intern with Andy Reid and the Philadelphia Eagles (2007-09) while Reid was the Head Coach and Executive Vice President of Football Operations in Philadelphia.

Bleymaier was a four-year letterman as a wide receiver at Delaware (2002-05), where he hauled in 74 career receptions for 864 yards (11.7 avg.) with 11 total offensive touchdowns. In his sophomore season, Bleymaier was a member of the Blue Hens' 15-1, I-AA National Championship team.
