American Indian Heritage Month | Kansas City Chiefs -


November is American Indian Heritage Month. The Chiefs have forged a relationship with the American Indian Community Working Group to promote awareness and education about American Indian culture across Chiefs Kingdom.

Over the past seven years, we have worked in the community and in games to promote this education across all our fans. Check out some of this work below:

  • Blessing of the Drum and GEHA Drum Deck
  • Color Guard representatives during the National Anthem
  • Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat honoree
  • Distributed pamphlets with awareness and educational information
  • Salute to Service Honorees at games
  • Pregame Flag Ceremony
  • Hosted a group at Draft Fest and Jr. Training Camp
  • Play60 & Punt, Pass & Kick player visits at Sports Pavilion Lawrence and at Arrowhead
  • Literacy & Scholastic Book Fair player visit at Kickapoo Nation School
  • Hosted two youth football camps at reservation YMCA
