Five-time ACM Entertainer of the Year and four-time CMA Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney has announced his return to the iconic Arrowhead Stadium stage. For the seventh time, Chesney will take over Arrowhead Stadium, as the Chillaxification Tour 2020, presented by Blue Chair Bay Rum, makes a stop in Kansas City, Missouri, on Saturday, July 11, 2020.
Chesney is scheduled to be joined by multi-platinum recording artist Florida Georgia Line, as well as Old Dominion and Michael Franti & Spearhead, on next summer's tour.
The show will mark the 54th concert or music festival in Arrowhead Stadium history and will be the 14th concert performance that the stadium has hosted since 2011. The 2020 show will be Chesney's second appearance at Arrowhead in the last three years. Chesney will make Kansas City, Missouri, the 13th stop on his country-wide stadium tour in 2020.
"Kenny Chesney remains one of the premier stadium-show performers and makes each of his shows a must-see event," Arrowhead Events President Mark Donovan said. "We are looking forward to welcoming Kenny back to the Arrowhead stage for the seventh time and hosting No Shoes Nation for the biggest party of the summer."
