Tyler Judkins enters his first season with Kansas City in 2021 as the club's strength & conditioning assistant.
Prior to working for the Chiefs, Judkins spent three seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers as an assistant strength coach (2019-20) and strength and conditioning intern (2018).
Judkins came to the NFL after six seasons (2012-17) on the UCLA Strength and Conditioning staff. He was promoted to assistant strength and conditioning coach, under the direction of former head football strength and conditioning coordinator, Sal Alosi, in August 2014. Judkins earned his master's degree in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention while serving as a graduate assistant in the Bruin program from 2013-14. He began his time at UCLA as an intern with the Bruin Strength staff in 2012.
Judkins earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Augsburg College, in Minnesota, in 2010. He was a four-year letter-winner as a defensive back on the football team at Augsburg.
Judkins is an NSCA – Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist – CSCS, and also earned the following certifications throughout his professional career: USAW Level 1 Olympic Weightlifting, Functional Movements System Level 1 FMS, Functional Range Conditioning FRC Mobility Specialist, Precision Nutrition Level 1 and Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, AED.
