Seventh-year safety enters his seventh season with Kansas City in 2020.
After only starting in one game from 2014-16, Sorensen stepped into the starting safety position during the 2017 season after S Eric Berry suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in the season opener. Sorensen would go on to start the remaining 14 games he played in and tallied career-highs in tackles (88), sacks (1.5), tackles for loss (5) and quarterback pressures (7).
Spent six weeks on the club's practice squad in 2014.
Earned first forced fumble recovery of 2018 season, third career, in Week 13 at Oakland (12/1/18).
Led the defense with a team- and career-high 88 tackles for the 2017 season.
