JACKSON COUNTY PREFERENCE PLAN

Arrowhead Stadium is the byproduct of a special partnership between Jackson County and the Chiefs. In April 2006, Jackson County voters approved a 3/8 cent sales tax dedicated to the design and construction of the Arrowhead. The Hunt family and the Chiefs also agreed to provide $75 million to the project at that time. In August 2007, the Hunt family increased their financial commitment by $50 million to $125 million to create an experience at Arrowhead that would be among the best in the NFL.

As part of the Jackson County Preference Plan, the Kansas City Chiefs will offer Jackson County taxpayers a preferred opportunity to purchase single game tickets. Once the NFL releases the Chiefs' date specific schedule for the upcoming season, Jackson County taxpayers will be provided the preferred opportunity to purchase single game tickets from an allotted inventory for a seven (7) day period. The specific seven (7) day period will begin after the Chiefs' date specific schedule is released by the NFL for the upcoming season. In recent years, the NFL has released the Chiefs' date specific schedule in mid to late April. Jackson County residents also receive an exemption from the Jackson County Sports Complex Authority "Parking User Fee" which began following the completion of the 2010-2011 Chiefs season.

In 2006, an amendment was passed to the team's lease with the county for Arrowhead Stadium. The amendment provides for the maintenance of the stadium through the Jackson County Sports Authority Parking User Fee.

ACCEPTABLE DOCUMENTATION

In order to reward the taxpaying individuals and businesses who are residents of Jackson County ("JC") for their commitment to Arrowhead Stadium and the Kansas City Chiefs, the following procedures have been established:

Proof of Property Ownership:

Proof of property ownership is required to receive any of the benefits offered under this Jackson County Preference Plan. Proof of property ownership includes a current valid government issued photo identification or other photo identification acceptable to the Chiefs (a "Photo ID") of the person purchasing the tickets and a personal or business current Jackson County, Missouri personal or real property tax receipt. The address on the Chiefs account must be located within Jackson County. For businesses, a current copy of the employee identification for the person making the purchase must also be included.

Chiefs Season Tickets

JC residents will receive priority seating privileges usually in the form of a ticket presale, while supplies last. Requirements will include purchase in person at the Chiefs Box office with documented proof of JC property tax payment and a Photo ID.

Parking: Beginning with the 2011 Chiefs season, JC Season Ticket Members renewing tickets and ordering season parking and who mail in a copy of their supporting property tax payment documentation (with their renewal information) will be exempt from the Parking User Fee. The property tax payment information must match the information on the Season Ticket Member account. JC residents purchasing new season tickets with season parking at the Chiefs Box Office with documented proof of JC property tax payment and a Photo ID (as set forth above) also will be exempt from the Parking User Fee.

Chiefs Single Game Tickets

JC residents will also receive  priority seating privileges usually in the form of a ticket presale, while supplies last, for Chiefs single game tickets. Requirements will include purchase in person at the Chiefs box office with proof of JC property tax payment and a Photo ID.

Parking: Beginning with the 2011 Chiefs season, JC single game purchasers who present a copy of their supporting property tax payment documentation and a Photo ID will be exempt from the Parking User Fee, during the pre-sale at the Chiefs box office only. The parking must be purchased at that time, or JC taxpayers will be subject to the fee.

Other Events Promoted by the Kansas City Chiefs

For events promoted exclusively by the Chiefs, JC residents will receive a two-day preferred event ticket purchase window, along with Chiefs current Season Ticket Members and Sponsors. Such two-day sale period will be established and posted on the Chiefs web site with reasonable notice outlining the on-sale and its requirements. Chiefs will waive the Parking User Fee for JC taxpayers purchasing tickets during such two-day period in person at the Chiefs Box office with documented proof of JC property tax payment and a Photo ID.

Other Events Promoted or Co-Promoted by a Third Party

For events promoted or co-promoted by a third party, the Chiefs will utilize good faith efforts to secure JC residents a two-day preferred event ticket purchase window, along with Chiefs current Season Ticket Members and Sponsors. Chiefs will also attempt to waive the Parking User Fee for JC taxpayers buying tickets at the Chiefs Box Office and providing documented proof of JC property tax payment and a Photo ID. If successful in those efforts, a two-day period will be established and posted on the Chiefs web site with reasonable notice outlining the on-sale and its requirements.
