Chiefs CB Sean Smith Ranks as the Fifth-Best Cornerback in Madden

The six-year NFL veteran is coming off one of the best seasons of his career

Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Sean Smith was a problem for opposing quarterbacks all throughout the course of the 2014 season.

According to Pro Football Focus, Smith allowed just 57 percent of passes thrown in his direction and rating-wise, he was the fifth-best cornerback in the league.

The folks at EA Sports apparently picked up what PFF was putting down, rating Smith 91 overall, only behind four others in the NFL (Richard Sherman, Darelle Revis, Vontae Davis and Chris Harris Jr.).

Here is the explanation:

Smith was instrumental in improving the Chiefs passing defense from 25th to 2nd last season. He has 86 Speed, 94 Play Recognition, and 93 MCV/95 ZCV/97 PRS.
