2025 Chiefs Flag Runner Auditions Now Open

Job Summary:

The Kansas City Chiefs Flag Runners are a high-energy part of the game day experience at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. They lead the team onto the field before kickoff and sprint across the field and end zones after every touchdown and field goal. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow directions quickly and work as part of a team.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Appropriate demeanor for being on the field during professional events.
  • Must be able to wear team-issued uniforms and follow appearance/ gameday guidelines.
  • Able to carry or manage flag gear quickly and safely.
  • Ability to sprint 30–120 yards while carrying a large flag, sometimes multiple times per game.
  • Strong sense of coordination (NFL flags are large and heavy, especially in windy stadiums — they require upper body strength and coordination).
  • Must perform in all weather conditions — rain, snow, wind, and extreme heat or cold.
  • Previous Experience (preferred but not always required): experience in sports, athletics, or event staffing.

Availability:

  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (depending on game schedules).
  • Commitment to the full duration of events or game days.
