Details will be sent to those rookie candidates who have registered for the 2026 Auditions. Auditions will include learning & performing choreography via a video submission as well as submitting a 1-minute dance solo of the candidate's choice.

Audition Material will be sent out on Saturday, March 21st to those candidates that have registered for the 2026 Auditions. Candidates have the option to learn the material in person at the Audition Clinic on March 21st from 1:00pm- 6:00pm CST. For those that cannot attend in person, a video link will be emailed for candidates to learn the material from the video link.

Keep in mind that material and details will be sent once registrations are received starting on March 21st. The later you register, the less time you will have to learn the choreography and submit your video submissions.

No, all rounds are closed to the public

Not required but suggested, please utilize our Audition Prep Classes to help get ready for auditions

What should I wear to auditions?

Most candidates wear 2-piece attire: Dance or athletic bra top with dance shorts. No biker shorts or bikini style bottoms. Chiefs Cheerleaders often wear 2-piece styles for performances. We recommend candidates wear a similar style.

Most candidates wear jazz shoes, or lightweight tennis shoes.

Chiefs Cheerleaders wear their hair down and fully styled on game day, and we recommend candidates wear their hair in a current hairstyle that compliments their features and doesn't hide their face.

Not required, but prep classes and workshops are your best guide to the style, tips, and inside knowledge of the team.
