The Kansas City Chiefs made an addition to their offensive line on Wednesday by acquiring veteran Josh Ezeudu in a trade with the New York Giants in exchange for a 2028 seventh-round pick.

A three-year veteran who originally entered the NFL as a third-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Ezeudu appeared in 33 games (with 10 starts) during his time in New York. He split his time between left guard (317 snaps) and left tackle (402 snaps) while with the Giants before a calf injury ended his 2025 season in training camp of that year.

Prior to joining the professional ranks, Ezeudu was a three-year starter at North Carolina who primarily lined up at left guard – logging 20 starts – while also chipping in eight starts at tackle during that span.

The 6-foot-4, 310-pound lineman spent time at both right guard (30 snaps) and right tackle (44 snaps) during this preseason, yielding a grand total of zero pressures across those plays.

Now in Kansas City, he'll have an opportunity to add versatile depth to the Chiefs' offensive line.
