Chiefs Complete Offseason Training Program with Mandatory Minicamp

The Chiefs completed their three-day minicamp this week

The Kansas City Chiefs wrapped up the offseason training program on Thursday as the team completed their three-day mandatory minicamp at the team facility.

The minicamp, which operated under "Phase 3" rules and permitted for offensive vs. defensive drills, marked the culmination of a three-month program that sought to prepare the three-time defending AFC champions for the 2025 campaign.

"The guys finished up today with a run [test], and did a nice job with it," said Head Coach Andy Reid. "[Head Strength and Conditioning Coach / Director of Sports Science] Ryan [Reynolds] has done a good job, along with the players, coaches and the rest of the strength staff, of getting these guys in good shape. It showed today…The guys are looking forward to taking a break, but they're also looking forward to ramping up for the season and training camp."

The Chiefs will now enjoy some time away from the facility before heading to training camp next month. In the meantime, here are some quick notes from Tuesday and Wednesday's practices, which were open to members of the media:
