Chiefs Injury Update: Four Players Leave Sunday's Victory Early

Head Coach Andy Reid provided an update on the Chiefs’ injured players following Sunday’s victory

The Kansas City Chiefs lost four players to injuries during Sunday afternoon's victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Head Coach Andy Reid provided an update on those players following the game.

"[Safety] Eric Murray sprained his ankle, [linebacker] Justin Houston strained his hamstring, [safety] Armani Watts hurt his groin and Larry [offensive guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif] has a fractured fibula."

Reid indicated that while Duvernay-Tardif will miss some time, he still has a chance to return later this season.

"It's going to take a little bit of time, but not too long," Reid said. "He won't be done for the year, which is a positive."

We'll get an injury update on Wednesday when the Chiefs return to practice in preparation for next Sunday's bout with the New England Patriots.
