KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs have announced their preseason television and radio talent teams for the 2026 season. The club's in-house preseason television network, the Chiefs Radio Network and Tico Sports will all return their full crews from the 2025 season.
"The collective goal of every Chiefs broadcast network team is to deliver world-class game coverage to Chiefs Kingdom, no matter the medium, and we couldn't be more excited to have our entire Chiefs Preseason Television crew, our Chiefs Radio Network crew, as well as the Chiefs Spanish Radio Network crew return for the 2026 season," Chiefs Vice President of Content and Production Robert Alberino, Jr. said. "The men and women who handle our preseason television broadcasts are the best in the industry, and we have tremendous partners in Audacy and Tico Sports for our radio coverage across preseason, regular season, and postseason football. We can't wait to kick off the 2026 season with the first preseason game this weekend."
The Chiefs Preseason Television booth will feature national broadcast veteran Ari Wolfe as the play-by-play announcer for the seventh season in 2026. Former Pro Bowl quarterback and NFL on CBS analyst Trent Green returns to the booth for his 16th season as the preseason crew's color commentator. Joining Wolfe and Green for her fifth year as sideline reporter for the Chiefs Preseason Television team is Kimmi Chex, a Kansas City, Missouri, native and on-air host and personality for NFL Media. Chiefs Senior Team Reporter Matt McMullen is entering his sixth season delivering sideline features and reports for the preseason broadcasts. All three preseason games are produced by 65 Toss Power Trap Productions. All preseason games will air locally on KSHB 41.
The Chiefs Preseason Television Affiliate Network is picking up two new markets in 2026 as KLKN in Lincoln, Nebraska, and KFVS in the Paducah, Kentucky-Cape Girardeau, Missouri, DMA will broadcast Chiefs preseason games for the first time. In addition, four existing Chiefs Preseason Television markets will see new stations take over Chiefs Preseason Television rights:
- KSDK in St. Louis, Missouri
- KSNW in Wichita, Kansas
- KSNT in Topeka, Kansas
- WOI in Des Moines, Iowa
The Chiefs Radio Network is anchored by Audacy's 96.5 The Fan (KFNZ-FM). "Voice of the Chiefs" Mitch Holthus returns for his 33rd season as the club's play-by-play personality. Holthus has called a team-record 550 career regular and postseason games for the club, earning eight Kansas Sportscaster of the Year awards and one Missouri Sportscaster of the Year award.
Joining Holthus in the booth for the seventh year is former Chiefs wide receiver and current Kansas City Ambassador Danan Hughes, who has been broadcasting football and baseball as part of the Big Ten Network since 2008, as well as Chiefs pregame and postgame shows on local television since 2014. Josh Klingler, a former Kansas City morning sports talk show personality and the sideline reporter for the University of Kansas for more than 18 years, enters his seventh season as the network's sideline reporter. Joshua Brisco returns to the Chiefs Radio Network for the second season as the new pregame and postgame show host on 96.5 The Fan. Eric Townsend enters his second year as Executive Producer for the Chiefs Radio Network.
Tico Sports will again produce a Spanish-language broadcast for all preseason, regular season and postseason Chiefs games in 2026. Oscar Monterroso enters his 11th season as executive producer and his third full season handling play-by-play duties after producing and calling Super Bowls LIV, LV, LVII, LVIII, and LIX for Tico Sports. Hannah Bassham enters her 11th season with the crew and embarks on her third season as the broadcast's analyst after previously serving as the network's sideline reporter and halftime show host for eight years. Alvaro Alvarez returns to the broadcast for his second year as the network's sideline reporter. Executive Director CiCi Rojas brings more than 20 years of corporate client and media engagement experience to the broadcast. Tico's Spanish-language broadcast can be heard on:

- KSSA (105.9 FM and 1470 AM) in Garden City, Kansas, and Liberal, Kansas.
- KWXD (103.5 FM) in Pittsburg, Kansas, and Joplin, Missouri.
- KEKS (103.1 FM) in Emporia, Kansas.
