The Kansas City Chiefs acquired a sixth-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft from the Atlanta Falcons on Tuesday in exchange for offensive tackle Wanya Morris and a seventh-round selection.
Morris departs Kansas City after appearing in 43 games (with 16 starts) over the last three seasons. Specifically, he started 11 games at left tackle in 2024 as the Chiefs earned the top seed in the AFC.
Originally a third-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Morris' career will now continue as a member of the Falcons, but his time in Kansas City – which included winning Super Bowl LVIII – was certainly well spent.
