The Chiefs are trailing the Patriots in Foxboro

The Kansas City Chiefs are trailing the New England Patriots, 24-9, at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. on Sunday night.

Kicker Harrison Butker was responsible for each of the Chiefs' scores in the half, connecting on three field goals.

The two teams traded field goals on their initial offensive drives before Patriots' tailback Sony Michel put New England in front with a 4-yard touchdown late in the first quarter. The Patriots went on to find the end zone two more times in the half.

Chiefs' quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 14-of-23 passes for 164 yards and two interceptions in the half, finding tight end Travis Kelce a team-leading five times for 61 yards.

Tailback Kareem Hunt also put together a productive half for Kansas City, amassing 76 yards on nine total touches.
