Creed Humphrey Tops ESPN's Interior Lineman Rankings

Humphrey led all centers and guards in the rankings

ESPN's annual positional rankings are underway, and in the case of interior linemen – which includes both centers and guards – Creed Humphrey stood out among the rest.

Here's what the rankings – which are compiled by a group of anonymous league executives, coaches and scouts – had to say about Humphrey:

"Last year, Humphrey made the case as the best overall center since Jason Kelce. Now, he's the top interior lineman thanks to consistency in the voting. He's the only one to appear on every ballot and was a top-three recipient on the majority of them.

Humphrey's 96.2 pass block win rate last season ranks sixth among all interior offensive linemen. He's the lead communicator for a championship-level offense. And his intangibles are well-known around the league."

Humphrey's lofty standing in the rankings marked yet another accolade in what has been an offseason full of them for the fifth-year center. Humphrey landed at No. 93 in the NFL Top 100 rankings, he was Pro Football Focus’ top center in their positional rankings, he earned First-Team All-Pro honors for the first time in his career, and FOX Sports even included him in their “future half-decade team.”

Humphrey is the consensus best in the business, and he'll aim to add to his already impressive resume with another strong season in 2025.
