Over One Million Fans Tuned in to the "World's Largest Tailgate" Last Week

The event is available for re-watch on the Chiefs’ YouTube page

Fans from around the world came together in celebration of the Kansas City Chiefs last Thursday as more than one million people tuned in to the "World's Largest Tailgate" event, which streamed live online from the Ford Tailgate District outside of GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

The event included a performance by the American DJ/producer duo "Two Friends" in addition to appearances by the Merrell Twins – a pair of Kansas City-born YouTube stars – Saturday Night Live's Heidi Gardner, influencer Tabitha Swatosh, Donna Kelce, various Chiefs legends and other special guests.

The 90-minute show, which was presented by Bud Light, brought together fans from around the globe in a shared excitement for the new football season, from Season Ticket Members attending in person to those on the other side of the world.

"Chiefs Kingdom is wherever you are, and the World's Largest Tailgate is one way we can unite people in Kansas City, around the country and throughout the world around the fact that NFL football is back in a big way," said Chiefs President Mark Donovan prior to the event. "We are incredibly proud of our football team, our fans and our tailgating culture, and we're certain that we'll be exporting a special look at GEHA Field at Arrowhead and the Chiefs through this unique music and entertainment experience."

Indeed, the "World's Largest Tailgate" certainly lived up to its name.
