Here’s a look at the latest NFL “power rankings” from around the web

The Kansas City Chiefs came out on top in one of the more thrilling regular-season games in recent memory on Thursday, defeating the Los Angeles Chargers to claim a two-game lead in the AFC West while maintaining their lofty spot in the various NFL "power rankings" from around the web.

Kansas City once again owned the top spot in Bleacher Report's rankings this week following Thursday's win. Here's a portion of what they had to say about Kansas City:

"In professional football, where parity reigns supreme, the Chiefs are ascending as possibly the league's only elite team. Reid's squad is now on a roll having won seven straight contests. More importantly, the mistakes that were being made earlier this season are dissipating, and both sides of the ball are playing well. Once again, the Chiefs are the NFL's team to beat."

Elsewhere, the folks at Yahoo! Sports have Kansas City as the No. 2 team in their rankings this week behind only Green Bay. Here's a portion of their analysis:

"For all of the early season issues, the Chiefs are right where they want to be."

The Chiefs also landed at No. 2 in USA Today’s rankings this week, moving up two spots. Here's what they wrote about Kansas City:

"Kansas City is the fifth team in league history to win at least 10 games in seven consecutive seasons. The Chiefs also control their fate as they seek the No. 1 seed for the third time since 2018."
