Pro Football Focus Names Creed Humphrey to "Top 25 Players Under 25" List

Humphrey was the only interior offensive lineman to appear on the list

Kansas City Chiefs' center Creed Humphrey earned a spot in Pro Football Focus' annual "Top 25 Players Under 25" rankings on Wednesday, making him the only interior offensive lineman to appear on the list.

The rankings – which aimed to identify the top young players in the NFL heading into the 2023 season – placed only five players ahead of Humphrey in that regard: Dallas Cowboys' edge rusher Micah Parsons, Minnesota Vikings' wide receiver Justin Jefferson, Tampa Bay Buccaneers' offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs, Cincinnati Bengals' wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase and New York Jets' cornerback Sauce Gardner,

Here's what the article had to say about Humphrey:

"Humphrey has been as rock solid as a young offensive lineman can be. He's recorded back-to-back elite grades of 91.8 in 2021 and 89.9 in 2022. On more than 1,400 true pass-blocking snaps played, he's given up one sack and just 28 total pressures across the past two years."

The 23-year-old Humphrey hasn't missed a game in his two seasons as a professional. He was the third-place finisher in Associated Press Offensive Rookie of the Year voting in 2021 before earning Second-Team All-Pro honors (and an invitation to the Pro Bowl) this past season.
