Second Season of "Viva Chiefs Kingdom" Docuseries Premieres on Chiefs Official YouTube Channel

Two-Part Series Spotlighting Chiefs Fans in Mexico Throughout the 2024 NFL Season Now Streaming Online

After launching the club's first all-Spanish-language long-form content series last summer, the Kansas City Chiefs have debuted Season Two of "Viva Chiefs Kingdom," now available on the team's Official YouTube Channel.

Produced in partnership between 65 Toss Power Trap Productions, Forca Studio, and Samba Digital, the two-part docuseries continues the club's mission to expand the Chiefs brand and grow the game of football internationally. This season, the series introduces a new group of passionate Chiefs fans in Mexico and follows their journey throughout the 2024 NFL campaign, as the team pursues a historic third consecutive Super Bowl title.

"Chiefs fans in Kansas City and around the world are passionate, dedicated, and deeply engaged – and that's especially true of our fans in Mexico," Chiefs Executive Vice President and Chief Media and Marketing Officer Lara Krug said. "Following the success of Season One, we're excited to introduce a new group of fans and continue celebrating the stories and moments that make our fanbase in Mexico so special."

When first launched in 2024, "Viva Chiefs Kingdom" was the team's first foray into long-form, international, "fans-first" content, showcasing the emotional connections and community that define Chiefs Kingdom globally – particularly in Mexico.

"We are thrilled about the launch of the second season of 'Viva Chiefs Kingdom' in Mexico. The first season offered a compelling look into what it means to be a Chiefs fan in cities such as Puebla, Chihuahua, Torreón," NFL Mexico Head of Marketing, Fan Engagement, and Events Izamná Crail Romero said. "This initiative reflects the strong commitment of the Kansas City Chiefs to connect more deeply with their fanbase in Mexico and to continue promoting the growth and relevance of football in collaboration with the NFL."

Featuring Chiefs fans in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey this season, episode one explores how love for a team forms authentic families – ones that don't need blood ties to unite. Episode two follows the fans through the second half of the season as excitement and hope crescendo. Despite the outcome of the season, the love, passion, pride, and sense of belonging in Chiefs Kingdom are evident throughout the team's playoff run.

The "Viva Chiefs Kingdom" series is part of the club's broader strategy to engage Spanish-speaking audiences around the world and at home. In 2024, the Chiefs rebranded their Mexico-based social media accounts into fully Spanish-language channels on Instagram (@chiefsespanol) and TikTok (@chiefsespanol). The accounts lead the NFL in followers and engagement among all clubs with Spanish-language or Mexico-specific accounts.

The Chiefs currently own International Home Marketing Area rights in Mexico, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Ireland through the NFL's Global Markets Program. The team has played three international regular season NFL games – in London (2015), Mexico City (2019) and Frankfurt (2023) – becoming the first club in league history to win regular season games in four different countries (including the U.S.).

The Chiefs are scheduled to add to their roster of international appearances by opening the 2025 season at Corinthians Arena in São Paulo, Brazil, against the AFC West rival Los Angeles Chargers on Friday, September 5. It will mark the fourth international market the Chiefs have played a regular season NFL game in (London, Mexico City, Frankfurt, São Paulo) – the most of any team in the league. The club has also played in four American Bowl preseason games, including a 1996 matchup in Monterrey, Mexico.
