Tight End Travis Kelce Appears in NFL Fantasy's "Top 50" Rankings

Kelce is the first member of the Chiefs to appear in the rankings so far

Football season is just a couple of months away, which means fantasy football – and the endless research that precedes draft day – is nearly here.

NFL Fantasy has been doing their part to rank who they believe will be the top players in 2018, releasing two names each day as part of a countdown detailing the top 50 fantasy players in the NFL, and a member of the Kansas City Chiefs has checked in on the list.

That player is tight end Travis Kelce, who appears at No. 33 in the rankings as he looks to become just the second tight end in NFL history to tally three consecutive seasons with at least 1,000 yards receiving.

Kelce hauled in a career-high eight touchdowns in 2017, and with the addition of wide receiver Sammy Watkins to an already electric group of pass-catchers inevitably drawing the eye of the defense, the 28-year-old tight end could see even more opportunities come his way this season.

That's an exciting prospect considering that Kelce already ranked second among all tight ends in fantasy scoring last season.

Follow @NFLFantasy on Twitter to see if any of Kelce's teammates make the list.
