Chiefs All-Time Touchdown Leaders
1st: TE Travis Kelce (85 TDs) — Kelce has redefined what it means to be a tight end. The Cincinnati product quickly became one of the league's most dominant pass catchers and already owns multiple franchise records. He leads all Chiefs in career receptions and receiving yards and holds the NFL record for most consecutive 1,000-yard seasons by a tight end. Add most touchdowns in franchise history to his tally, and Kelce has cemented himself as a Chiefs legend.
2nd: RB Priest Holmes (83 TDs) — Holmes played seven seasons with the Chiefs from 2001–2008, scoring 83 touchdowns in just 65 games, despite missing significant time due to injuries. The Texas alum's 2004 season — 14 touchdowns in only eight games — proved he was one of the NFL's most impactful offensive weapons.
3rd: TE Tony Gonzalez (76 TDs) — Drafted in the first round in 1997, Gonzalez was the gold standard at his position long before Kelce took over. The 10-time Pro Bowler logged four 1,000-yard seasons and caught 102 passes for 1,258 yards and seven touchdowns in 2004. Even with the emergence of another superstar tight end, Gonzalez remains one of the all-time greats.
4th: WR Tyreek Hill (67 TDs) — Hill's time in Kansas City may have been brief, but it was electric. The fifth-round pick burst onto the scene with nine total touchdowns as a rookie and continued to thrive over six seasons, including a 17-touchdown campaign in 2020 and four 1,100-yard seasons before being traded to Miami following the 2021 season.
5th: RB Jamaal Charles (64 TDs) — A third-round pick in 2008, Charles started as a backup but quickly became one of the NFL's most explosive running backs. His 2010 season featured 1,467 rushing yards and a staggering 6.4 yards per carry, while his 2013 campaign (1,980 total yards, 19 TDs) earned him third place in MVP voting.
Travis Kelce Touchdown Scorer Odds
On Sunday, November 17, during an afternoon matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos, Travis Kelce made history. After hauling in a short pass from Patrick Mahomes, Kelce powered his way into the end zone for his 84th touchdown in red and gold, breaking Priest Holmes' franchise record. The tight end has already surpassed his 2024 touchdown total and still has plenty of games left to build on it this regular season.
After notching touchdown No. 85 on Thanksgiving Day against the Cowboys, the Chiefs now turn their attention to the red-hot Houston Texans. Houston's defense continues to be one of the league's toughest, allowing the fewest points per game this season (16.5) and just 16.0 PPG over their last three. They also rank fourth in passing yards allowed per game (174) and third in opponent completion percentage (58.4%). Kelce may be facing another elite defensive unit, but that hasn't slowed his trips to the end zone this year — his record-setting touchdown, after all, came against one of the NFL's top defenses in Denver.
Kelce enters this matchup at +185 to score an anytime touchdown on DraftKings Sportsbook. The 36-year-old remains one of Mahomes' most trusted targets, leading the team in targets (78) and receiving yards (719) this season.
