The sculpture is an abstract study of human movement that incorporates a football shape. Its flowing, open form is split into four linked quadrants, symbolizing the game's four quarters and the routes players run. A circular base represents the 'O' marking offensive players in a coach's playbook.

Jacob earned his Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture at the University of Kansas. He has been a self-supporting artist since 2015.
