When you buy a ticket through the Chiefs or one of the NFL Ticket Partners to the Chiefs vs. Broncos game on Sunday, December 5 and come to the game, you'll gain access to a free virtual commemorative ticket in the form of an NFT (non-fungible token). These virtual commemorative tickets are game-day memories you can save in your virtual collection.

Who is eligible for a Virtual Commemorative Ticket?

Virtual Commemorative Tickets will be available to fans who scanned in to the Chiefs v. Broncos game on Sunday, December 5 using a ticket that they purchased on their own account. Note:

  • Only one Virtual Commemorative Ticket is available per account, regardless of the number of tickets purchased.
  • Only ticket purchasers — not ticket transfer recipients — are eligible to receive a Virtual Commemorative Ticket.
  • If a ticket purchaser transfers all of their tickets, neither the recipient nor the purchaser are eligible.
  • Fans must attend the game and scan their ticket to receive the Virtual Commemorative Ticket.

How will fans receive their Virtual Commemorative Ticket?

Following the game, eligible fans will receive a link via email to view their Virtual Commemorative Ticket. Fans will log in to a Ticketmaster account to view their Virtual Commemorative Ticket.

How do I access my NFL Virtual Commemorative Ticket?

You can browse the Marketplace without signing in. To buy, sell and/or view your Virtual Commemorative Tickets, sign in using the email address and password associated with your Ticketmaster account.

How do I see the Virtual Commemorative Ticket I have?

Tap "My Virtual Commemorative Ticket Collection" in the upper right corner of the screen. You can access all your Virtual Commemorative Tickets anytime as long as you are signed in with your Ticketmaster account.

How do I share a link to view my Virtual Commemorative Ticket on social media?

  1. Go to "My Virtual Commemorative Ticket Collection" and tap on the Virtual Commemorative Ticket you would like to share.
  2. Tap the share icon.
  3. Select how you would like to share. Tap one of the social media icons to share via Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn or tap the QR code or copy icon to text it or email it.

How can I give my Virtual Commemorative Ticket to a friend?

  1. Go to "My Virtual Commemorative Ticket Collection” and tap on the Virtual Commemorative Ticket you would like to give.
  2. Once on the Virtual Commemorative Ticket page, tap the "GIVE" button.
  3. To give multiple Virtual Commemorative Tickets to the same person, use the arrows to scroll through your Virtual Commemorative Tickets and tap "Select" to add the additional ones you would like to send.
  4. Type in the email address of the person you would like to give the Virtual Commemorative Tickets to, press enter, and tap "GIVE."
  5. The NFL will send an email to your recipient so they can accept and view the Virtual Commemorative Ticket, making them the new owner of that Virtual Commemorative Ticket.

How do I accept a Virtual Commemorative Ticket someone sent to me?

  1. Tap "Accept" in the email you receive when someone sends you a Virtual Commemorative Ticket.
  2. Sign in using your Ticketmaster account.
  3. Once signed in, you will receive the Virtual Commemorative Ticket and you will own it.

How can I sell my Virtual Commemorative Ticket?

You can sell your Virtual Commemorative Ticket through a standard sale, where you can set a price at which your Virtual Commemorative Ticket is listed, and others can pay to purchase it. All resale transactions are currently limited to $9,999 or less.

What are the fees when I sell my Virtual Commemorative Ticket?

Resale transactions may be subject to a marketplace processing fee and/or a royalty fee. Any such fees will be displayed to you at the time you begin the process of listing your ticket for sale and will not be incurred until your ticket successfully sells. Any fees will be removed from your sale price and you will receive the net proceeds from your sale.

I sold a Virtual Commemorative Ticket and the buyer paid with a credit card. When will the funds appear in my bank account?

The first time you sell a Virtual Commemorative Ticket, it can take between 7–14 days to receive your funds. After that, it usually takes 2 days to receive your funds. If you have not received your funds in these time periods, please contact Marketplace Support by responding to your emailed receipt.

What is the Marketplace refund policy?

All purchases are final, and no refunds, exchanges, or credits will be provided for any purchases that you might make on the Virtual Commemorative Ticket Marketplace. However, if the Virtual Commemorative Ticket you purchased is not displayed in "My Virtual Ticket Collection" within three business days, in certain circumstances we may issue you a refund.

What is a My Virtual Ticket Collection?

When you log into your Ticketmaster account via the NFL Virtual Commemorative Tickets Marketplace, your Virtual Ticket Collection is created and associated with your account. This will be a "wallet" where you will then be able to easily access and interact with your Virtual Commemorative Tickets.

Are these Virtual Commemorative Tickets NFTs (non-fungible tokens)?

Yes, the Virtual Commemorative Tickets are NFTs (non-fungible tokens).

An NFT (Non-Fungible Token) is a unique, digital item with blockchain-managed ownership. Examples of NFTs include digital art and collectibles, virtual reality items, ownership records for physical assets, and more.

The NFL's NFTs are minted on an eco-friendly blockchain with a low carbon footprint.

How do I see what blockchain my NFT (Virtual Commemorative Ticket) was minted on and view my NFT on the blockchain?

Beneath the name, description and NFT (Virtual Commemorative Ticket) issuer information you can see a link with the name of the blockchain your NFT was minted on. If you click on this link, a new page will open with a blockchain explorer where you can see the NFT information that is stored on the blockchain.
