It's the first time these guys will wear an NFL uniform on an NFL field.
That, in and of itself, makes it a pretty special few days.
The Kansas City Chiefs will hold their three-day rookie minicamp this weekend and all nine members of 2016 draft class will be in attendance when they take the field on Saturday morning.
They will practice Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
In addition to the nine members of the draft class, there are seven undrafted free agents, 39 tryout players and 12 active roster players who will join them.
Over the next three days, these players will meet the coaches, learn the offensive and defensive schemes and try to make some plays in the process.
They won't be in pads but that doesn't mean they can't find ways to impress the coaching staff.
Over the past few years, this is a time that guys who went undrafted like running back Charcandrick West and receiver Albert Wilson have stood out and impressed those in attendance.
