While the Kansas City Chiefs 2013 season came to a close on Saturday, the 11 wins and countless team and individual performances won't be overlooked. Prior to Wild Card Weekend, the All-Pro First and Second Teams were announced and included five of our eight Chiefs Pro Bowlers.

First Team All-Pro

Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles finished 2013 with 259 carries for 1,287 yards (5.0 avg) and 12 TDs, along with a team-high 70 receptions for 693 yards and seven TDs. While he was dominant all season long, no performance by Jamaal was more historic than in Week 15, when he recorded five touchdowns (one rushing, four receiving), becoming the first player in NFL history with at least four touchdown receptions and one touchdown run in a single game. His five total touchdowns tie for the fourth-most in a single game in NFL history.

Chiefs S Eric Berry joins Jamaal on the AP First Team and also starred in the Week 15 matchup against the Raiders. Berry intercepted two QB Matt McGloin passes, returning them for a combined 96 yards, marking his first-career multi-interception game. He returned the first interception 47 yards for a touchdown. It was his second interception return touchdown of the season, also returning a QB Michael Vick interception for a 38-yard touchdown at Philadelphia on Sept. 19. It was "EB's" third-career interception return for a touchdown. During 15 regular season starts in 2013, Berry recorded 74 tackles (66 solo), 11 tackles for loss, three interceptions and 10 passes defensed. He also recorded a career-high 3.5 sacks (-26.5 yards).

Second Team All-Pro

Chiefs DT Dontari Poe started in all 15 regular season games that he played in, posting 51 tackles (43 solo), including five for loss, 4.5 sacks (-30.5 yards), seven QB pressures and four passes defensed in his second season with the Chiefs. Poe started in each of his 31-career regular season games with the Chiefs.

Chiefs LB Tamba Hali finished the 2013 regular season with 15 starts and his 11.0 sacks (-78.5 yards) tied for the team lead, with Chiefs Pro Bowl LB Justin Houston. Hali added 46 tackles (39 solo), including 12 for loss, 12 QB pressures, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, including one returned 11 yards for a touchdown, an interception returned for a 10-yard touchdown and a pass defensed. He recorded his first two-career touchdowns in 2013. His first came in Week 1, intercepting a QB Blaine Gabbert pass and returning it 10 yards for a touchdown at Jacksonville (9/8/13). He also returned a WR T.J. Graham fumble 11 yards for a touchdown at Buffalo (11/3/13) in Week 9. Tamba became only the third player in franchise history to record double-digit sack totals in three separate seasons, joining Neil Smith (four) and Derrick Thomas (seven). Hali won AFC Defensive Player of the Week twice in 2013 (Weeks 6 & 15).

Chiefs WR/PR Dexter McCluster earned All-Pro Second Team honors as a kick returner. McCluster was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week, following his epic performance against the New York Giants in Week 4, highlighted by his 89-yard punt return TD. In 2013, Dex returned 57 punts for 654 yards (11.5 avg.) with two touchdowns. His 654 punt return yards rank first in franchise history, and his 57 punt returns are the second-highest single-season total in club annals. McCluster set a single-season team record with 177 punt return yards at Washington (12/8/13), including a 74-yard touchdown return.
