Houston will miss his second-consecutive game this weekend

Chiefs coach Andy Reid ruled linebacker Justin Houston as out for this weekend's season finale against the San Diego Chargers as he continues to rest his knee on Friday.

Houston has been dealing with swelling in his knee for the past two weeks following the game against the Tennessee Titans. He hasn't practiced since that game and missed last week's contest against the Denver Broncos.

The sixth-year linebacker had played in five straight games after returning from offseason knee surgery before missing last week's game, tallying 20 solo tackles and 4.0 sacks in that time.
