Sanders' comments: "Jason Avant had a great playoff game, one of the best games I had ever seen him play in his whole career here with the Chiefs. He kind of crossed the middle and Alex Smith led him, and he laid out in this perfect parallel dive. It's one of those pictures that, as a photographer, you always try to get because it's hard to get it—the guy parallel to the ground outstretched and everything sharp. "I like it because his eyes are just looking right at the ball and it's pretty dramatic. Over the years that I've been shooting, this might be one of the very first ones where I've gotten the player fully extended like that."
