Check-In Day for Chiefs QBs and Rookies

A quick preview of Monday's events at Chief Training Camp

The Kansas City Chiefs QBs, led by Alex Smith, as well as the team's rookies, report to training camp today, on the campus of Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri. The players are scheduled to arrive during the early to mid-afternoon and will address the media, as will Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, roughly around 4 PM CDT. They'll be joined by the rest of their Chiefs teammates on Thursday, before the team's first official practice on Friday at 3:30 PM CDT.

Once training camp begins on Friday, each practice will be followed later by Chiefs Live!, including highlights from the day, plus in-depth reviews of training camp position battles. Chiefs Live! will also include one-on one-interviews with the players, right as they step off the field.

In addition to Live!, we will be gathering elements for our show, Full-Contact, and updating Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. continuously. Below are just a few snapshots of what the players and coaches will see upon arriving today and when heading to the practice fields.

Once training camp gets going on Friday, the Chiefs will pass by the legendary Arrowhead logo, going to and from practice.

The team's practice fields are surrounded with Chiefs Training Camp banners, a welcomed site for the countless Chiefs fans who will be attending practices throughout the team's stay. We're just hours away from the QBs and rookies reporting, followed later by a daily recap and a preview of tomorrow's schedule.
