The Kansas City Chiefs welcomed back a familiar face on Monday by acquiring defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi in a trade with the New York Jets.
Nnadi, who signed with the Jets as a free agent earlier this offseason, spent the entirety of his seven-year career with Kansas City before departing for New York in March.
An early-down, run-stuffing defensive tackle, Nnadi logged 115 appearances (and 87 starts) during his first stint in Kansas City. Now back in town, the 29-year-old Nnadi will have an opportunity to pick right back up where he left off.
