Chiefs Fall to Titans, 22-21, Ending Their Season

The Titans came back to defeat the Chiefs at Arrowhead on Saturday

The Kansas City Chiefs fell to the Tennessee Titans, 22-21, on Saturday night, ending their season.

The Chiefs raced out to an early 18-point lead, but Tennessee responded with 19 unanswered points in the second half to move out in front late in the game.

Kansas City had a chance to reclaim the lead, taking over with just over six minutes left, but the drive stalled at midfield and the Titans managed to run out the clock.

Chiefs' quarterback Alex Smith completed 24 of 33 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, finding tight end Travis Kelce and wide receiver Demarcus Robinson each for scores.

Tailback Kareem Hunt also found the end zone in the game, plunging ahead for a 1-yard score early in the first quarter.

Titans' quarterback Marcus Mariota completed 19 of 31 passes for 205 yards and two touchdowns in the game, hitting wide receiver Eric Decker from 22 yards out for the go-ahead score midway through the fourth quarter.
