For the second week of Chiefs House London, fans can look forward to an unforgettable highlight: Kansas City Chiefs Legend Tim Grunhard will be joined by England rugby legend Ugo Monye for another edition of the Legends Chat. Together they will dive into their careers, reflect on life in the NFL and Premiership Rugby, and highlight the shared values that connect two very different sports. Tim Grunhard – A Chiefs Legend
Tim Grunhard was a cornerstone of the Kansas City Chiefs offensive line throughout the 1990s, making 120 consecutive starts at center over a ten-year span. Drafted in the second round of the 1990 NFL Draft, he became a model of toughness and consistency, earning a Pro Bowl nod by the end of the decade. Grunhard anchored an offense that ranked among the NFL's top five in rushing in four of his final six seasons, leaving a lasting mark as one of the Chiefs most reliable linemen. In 2021 he was inducted into the Chiefs Hall of Honor – a testament to his impact on the organization.
Ugo Monye – A Rugby Icon
Ugo Monye is a former Harlequins and England rugby star, celebrated as a one-club legend with 237 appearances, 87 tries, and a Premiership title to his name. His explosive pace earned him international recognition, featuring in the 2009 Six Nations and the British and Irish Lions Tour to South Africa, where his length-of-the-field try in the final Test remains iconic. Since retiring in 2015, Ugo has built a successful career as a broadcaster and pundit.
